By Bernie Wimbush,

A long time ago, in a far distant land, my world came crashing down. It was at Steven’s Creek Mission in San Jose California. I had been declared SP with a rider on it that said that I was never to be allowed back. My brother Kingsley, the Mission Holder had also been declared with that same rider, never to be allowed back.

Now I am a Class VIII C/S and have done the Org Exec Course. I knew I couldn’t be declared without a Comm Ev and the rider was clearly off policy as the door must always be left open even if it is only a crack.

Fortunately we have been gifted with a legacy of technology that when duplicated and applied produces spectacular results.

The most recent one has been with a dynamic lady named Ariel Spargo, who I am thrilled to say, today attested to the state of Clear and the Sunshine Rundown:

By Lana Mitchell,

I read a fascinating article today that details the importance of talking to your children about sex, about menstruation and about body parts. You can read the article here: http://bit.ly/XnlD8w. It is a good read and just makes plain sense.

Having two young children of my own, I have had to make my own choices about sex education — deciding what to talk about and when my children are deemed “old enough”. My decision probably won’t sit well with many. I decided to simply tell them the truth of things.

Suzy is an interned Class IV auditor, who audited for years at a large org in the mid to late 1970′s, but not since then. Tim and I are very proud of her as one of our first graduates of the Solo Auditor Course, just this week:

There has been so much emphasis on the past of late. Perhaps it is time to look at the future and what it may bring. In fact the future will bring whatever we put there to eventuate. If we put there the past, then we will get more of the past. If we put there something different. Some time ago I wrote a short article entitled, ‘The Future lies in the Future.’ Here is that article revised and updated.

A silly little phrase, the future still lies in the future. But it is very true. And the creation of the future lies in the present. What we do here and now will determine the sort of future we have.

By Jim Logan,

The descriptive term “decompression” has been used to describe the adjustment a number of people seem to go through, having left the environment of say the Sea Org, the Int Base, public on lines, and possibly the general environment of more or less active participation in the Church of Scientology.

Another comment made is that these people, now find themselves in the “real world”. This remark is made generally for those who spent a good chunk of time in the Sea Org at various places. It presupposes that the “world” of the Sea Org is somehow less “real”.

By Tom Martiniano,

The Sea Org was established on 12 August 1967 by L Ron Hubbard, initially on board three ships, the Diana, the Athena, and the Apollo. In 1971, it assumed responsibility for the ecclesiastical development of the church, and in particular for the upper levels, known as the “OT levels.” LRH’s hallmark “Ron’s Journal 1967” was recorded aboard the Apollo after LRH completed his research into OT III. Shortly after LRH disbanded WW Management and turned the duties of establishing and running Scientology to the Sea Organization. From then until 1975 Scientology experienced unprecedented expansion a boom never seen before or since. Tens of thousands of people per week were going free and experiencing case gain. Scientology was delivering like never before. The Sea Org moved to land bases in 1975, set up management in Clearwater Florida. Scientology continued to expand until it was commandeered and used for something else.

By Lana Mitchell,

In the last few decades, there has been growing trend for the Church of Scientology to not answer people’s questions.

There are many examples of it:

- Like questions from the media and from community groups.

A long time ago, a famous Greek philosopher called Socrates said this about marriage.

By all means marry. If you get a good wife you will become happy, and if you get a bad one you will become a philosopher.
Obviously Socrates was having a few problems at home he wasn’t able to handle.

He is not the only one that has had trouble with this. The Australian Bureau of Statistics says that in 2011, there were 121,752 marriages and 48,935 divorces. A 40% divorce rate.

By Haydn James,

If you were in the church for a while you probably came away with all sorts of ideas that are potential barriers to starting an auditing or training practice in the independent field. As an auditor, C/S and Senior C/S in my last fifteen years on staff I certainly built up my fair share of considerations, not to mention the arbitraries that were pounded in on me, such things as the definition of a floating needle and the extreme ethics action (punishment) carried out on perceived tech flubs. I use the term “perceived” because often one was declared guilty of practicing standard tech, on and on. It is a wonder any of us are auditing out here at all.

“As the only crime in the universe seems to be to communicate, and as the only saving grace of an awareness of awareness unit is to communicate, we can readily understand that an entanglement of communication is certain to result. What we should understand – and much more happily – is that it can now be resolved.”
