Independent Scientologists believe,
- "Scientology" does not equal "the Church of Scientology."
- Crimes, abuses and corruption are not Scientology.
- The only “acceptable truth” is full truth.
- LRH was neither perfect nor a sociopath.
- David Miscavige is a classic sociopath.
- Extracting donations under duress is robbery not Scientology.
- Under Miscavige's influence, the CoS became a suppressive group.
- Aggressive exposure of abuses and criminality is the only way to improve Scientology's condition.
- The use of disconnection, dirty tricks and "fair game" to silence whistle blowers, critics and dissenters is evil.
- Forcing Sea Org staff to abort their children is genocide.
- The CoS is out of alignment with it's own core ideals.
- Communication is the universal solvent.
- The ONLY acceptable code of conduct for a Scientology organization is the Auditor's Code.
- An organization that does not live by its own ideals is a fraud.
- Buildings have nothing to do with Scientology philosophy.
- Scientology is an applied spiritual philosophy, scientific in approach, that qualifies as a religion in the Eastern sense.
- The end does not justify the means.
- Auditing is for the pc and should never be done for any other purpose or reason.
- Standard tech applied exactly produces an exact prescribed result
- "Standard tech" is not available within the corporate church.
- The "technology" delivered by the corporate church is an abomination.
- No group has any right to a monopoly on wisdom.
- Anyone is free to practice Scientology regardless of race, color, creed, income bracket or sexual preference.
- People ARE basically good.
- Management of Scientology organizations is unnecessary.
- The problem with the CoS is their actions not their beliefs.
- What we are really attacking is criminality, not Scientology.
- Scientology's disrepute is due to the adversarial (crazy) actions of the Church as directed by DM.

Accumulation of money and riches is the wrong motivation for a church.
Great list!
I'd like to add: "Being uptone, theta and spirit of play does not mean you are theetie wheetie."

Hi Steve, I was wondering if the Indie policy could be further expanded on with regards to gays and lesbians practicing Scientology in the Indie field...
Will they be audited with the view or goal to turn them straight?
Is a gay person consisered 1.1 on the tone scale in this movement?
If they are taught that they are 1.1, don't you think it's hollow to say "they are welcome to practice but their sexuality is considered to be 1.1 - ie the lowest of the low"?
Great wesite BTW, very proffessional.
Cheers

THANKYOU,

Thank you so much Steve!

I turned my back on the whole thing, and that, right after getting my credentials as a trained, certified auditor (with stunning results in my PC's, believe you me).
When I delved into the news about scientology on the networks, all that came to me was dark and evil. Not all of that can be wrong...
Now, I have been searching for like fellows who want only the best for those who are in need of us. With this website come to existence, I believe I will be in the ranks again after some more exchange.
Thank you for this alteration, we're on the way up again, alive and kicking!

I generally agree :)
An evolution has to come and change "official" scn organisations.
Is it a pacifistic religion?
Scientology is not a conversion religion, and is not a religion at all from the perspective of Western biblical Christianity. Therefore, there is no conflict that a person should be a Mormon and a Scientologist at the same time.
I remember the commercials in the 80's and actually once thought about reading that book, just to see what it was about, but by the late 1990's the Co$ was already a joke, and I thought it a waste of time. Anyway, if CoS would have embraced change, and technology in as much a manner you guys so boldly like to tout, think of the possibilites of where it could be today given technological advances since the 50's, or whenever LRH cobbled together that crude device, hell I may even have been an OT... Maybe in my next life.
Again, great job getting some freedom of thought. It is amazing to see people escape cults, but you guys have a devotion to your craft, and that I strongly admire. Now go save the world... seriously do good. Let the Volcano collapse (Curch of Scientology days as a tax exempt organization are numbered, and we all know what that means, yup, bye-bye SEA ORG, as you can't do slavery with IRS oversight), once the lava cools, you can rebuild this movement the way it probably should have been from the beginning.. In my opinion, less LRH cult of personality, and more helping others. Make Ron proud.

1. Does iScientology believe in the Xenu Story aka The Wall of Fire?
2. How can I move up the bridge? There is no independent auditor in Romania :(
Scientology is not about L. Ron Hubbard. He tried to own the road to truth, but that's not something any individual can own. It belongs to each individual and it is inviolate. By placing his own name and brand on that he sewed the seeds of his own destruction. That's a fact. The reason is just as he explained in his writings from 1955, when an individual places himself in the middle of what he called a "theta" line, meaning a pathway of spiritual discovery, he will be surely blown to bits. And that is exactly what happened to him. Stupid of him to do that. Move forward on your own pathway to discovery. It belongs to you and not to anyone else.
There is a center in Israel and there maybe others in Romania you can work with. Perhaps through facebook you can find other like-minded people in your part of the world. There are also auditors who travel in Europe.
I was foolish to have asked that question in the past, but put it in such a way that people would understand my concerns and you would give me a good answer to my question. Even as it is, I should have read through Scientology books and delved within the religion with an open mind, instead of judging it without putting a bit of thought in my comment, based on the Media. I actually have analyzed the information that you gave me, and must say that I have rediscovered myself, so much so that I am ready to achieve ultimate freedom.
"What is true for you is what you have observed yourself. If you lost that, you lost everything".
#Thoughtful, you have my respect, and sincere thanks for putting this site together and doing your best to use Scientology as a force of good. Best wishes!
